OFF TOPIC OR MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS

dog peeing

Below are some unusual or "different" items having vaguely to do with aircraft or flight. Note that most are made with a digital camera on video so the quality may not be that great. Also some do not have sound. Those with dial-up may just want to download them since they are BIG files.

( e-mail to offer other items -- Webmaster  )

Any videos or jpgs/bmps are welcome but they must not be R-rated! In your e-mail state what they are about and also how big the files are in mb/kb. They should also be weird or unusual items.  Don't send them unless they are requested!

and remember DON'T TRY THESE AT HOME!

Some years ago a club member wanted to take off from the parking lot of a lawnmower racing event he and other club members went to. Here is the video. He did trim some trees in his takeoff!

TAKING OFF IN A PARKING LOT

Some club members like to show how they can blow smoke at a fly-in. This is from 2005.

SMOKING GYRO

There's a myth that it's hard to start a Mac engine. Here Mike Mikesell shows how easy it is.

Naw, IT'S EASY TO START A MAC!

Here is a recent video of someone in a Trike with an aborted takeoff. His BRS chute seemed to have fired on its own, or maybe he pulled the pin accidentally and fired it him (or her)self. No word on the fate of the pilot.

BRS CHUTE MALFUNCTION ON TAKEOFF

For our helicopter oriented members, here's someone using his feet to  take off in a home-built helicopter.

RUNNING TAKE-OFF FOR A HELICOPTER

This pilot swooped down low over an interstate median and gave the finger to passing cars.

SWOOPING DOWN AND GIVING THE FINGER

British aviation (??) humour?

PARROTS

Even a better tiny helicopter and the pilot does't have to run to take off.
Ron Awad wrote "I think Barry K  needs to make one for us to play with at the Goose" -- Goose Creek airport.
